Please note that the 4x8 signs do not come with any mounting wood or wires. Given their size and the variety of ways they can be used, it wouldn't be practical to stock all the appropriate poles and hardware.
Here are a few popular methods for installation:
Using T-Posts: Secure the ends and middle of the sign with 6-foot T-posts (I have found TSC to be the most affordable source locally). Punch 5-6 holes along the T-post and secure the sign with zip-ties, making sure to place the holes 2-4 inches from the edges to prevent tearing. This method is cost-effective and quick but may require maintenance as the sign may stretch or tear around the zip ties in heavy wind.
Building a Frame: Construct a frame using 1x3 or 2x4 lumber and secure the sign every 4-6 inches along the frame. Use T-posts to hold the frame in a vertical position.
Ground Supports: Use 2x4x8 lumber buried 18-24 inches into the ground as left and right supports and frame the sign with 1x3 or 2x4 lumber.
Attaching to Existing Structures: Secure the sign to an existing structure such as a fence, barn, garage, etc.
